Ranked nursing faculty positions are available in the undergraduate BSN program at Baptist Health Science University.  May 1, 2021- alternate start date negotiable.

Candidates for Undergraduate Nursing  Faculty positions are being sought in the areas of:

Baptist Health Sciences University, located in Memphis, TN, is a private co-educational Christian institution with over 1,000 students. The University offers baccalaureate and doctoral education, which include degrees in Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). The Baptist University Nursing faculty educate, enable, and encourage students who have “a calling” and aptitude to become successful nurses at the baccalaureate and doctoral level.

Positions: Full-time, 12-month positions are available in the Nursing Division. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications: Earned doctorate preferred. Master’s degree in nursing specialties: Psych/Mental Health Nursing, Maternal Newborn Nursing and Adult Health Nursing. Teaching experience in a professional nursing program using a variety of delivery modes a plus.  Eligibility to obtain compact RN license in Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas is required.

Duties/Responsibilities of Faculty: Clinical currency and appropriate academic credentials in area of expertise; teaching experience in undergraduate BSN programs, engaging in professional, college/university, and community service activities; and working collaboratively with colleagues from nursing and other disciplines.
