Job Summary

The Department of Computer Science and Information Technology at Clayton State University invites applications for a Tenure Track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin Fall 2021.

Responsibilities

In addition to supervising undergraduate and graduate research, the successful candidate must have a genuine commitment to teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in computer science to a diverse student body. He/she will be expected to support the department, university, and community through service such as committees, special projects, and accreditation efforts. The successful candidate must engage in scholarly activities, and will be expected to develop a dynamic, independent, and externally funded research program in an area of computer science. Candidates with a strong background in one or more of the areas of Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Machine learning, software engineering, and industry credentials or certification are especially desirable.

Required Qualifications

The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field.
