We are seeking highly trained and motivated postdoctoral fellows to join the Center for Shock, Trauma, and Anesthesiology Research at the University of Maryland School of Medicine ( https://www.medschool.umaryland.edu/star/ ).

The Translational Research Program has NIH-funded positions immediately available to study the role of extracellular vesicles and microRNA-mediated signaling in 1) sepsis-associated brain inflammation and cognitive dysfunction, 2) cardiac ischemia-reperfusion injury, 3) acute lung injury in sepsis, and 4) coagulopathy in sepsis and trauma. Qualifications :

The candidates with PhD or MD/PhD degree in molecular/cell biology, physiology, neuroscience, immunology, and pharmacology are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills and an independent ability to design and execute experiments.
