Job Description:

The School of Business at the University of Washington Bothell is seeking applications from qualified candidates for a part-time, non-tenure-track faculty position in MANAGEMENT & ORGANIZATION for a two-year, renewable, academic appointment to begin Autumn of 2021. The successful candidate(s) will teach undergraduate courses in Management and Organization, and in particular, courses in our Leadership and Innovation Option. Graduate courses may be available based on teaching success. A sample of relevant courses are as follows:

The position requires on-site face-to-face availability for teaching classes. Teaching assignments may include days or evenings. Quality performance will be expected in teaching. General responsibilities include: preparing and delivering a course that meets the course description and learning goals; using appropriate teaching strategies and evaluation methods; informing students of all course requirements and providing feedback on a continuing basis; holding regular office hours; using appropriate technology for the course; and submitting course grades by the deadline. The successful candidate needs to have interest and ability to interact with students and organize activities.

Qualifications

Required Education:

Master's degree in business administration. Business doctorate degree (PhD) in Management, Organizational Behavior, or related field preferred.

Required Work Experience :

Effective teaching in college/university level in Management and Organization for minimum of three years.

Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered:

Evidence of AACSB qualifications as a scholarly academic (SA).
