Responsibilities:
Data entry and data quality assurance
  • Review case and contact files in ServiceNow for completeness. Update missing fields, flag duplicate records, and fix administrative errors.
  • Export daily reports of contacts from Service now, clean data, and format into Redcap template. Upload contacts into MAVEN via Redcap.
  • Update case and contact events in MAVEN as completely as possible:
  • Update data on cases and contacts
  • Assign/share cases and contacts with local boards of health (LBOH) and the state's Department of Public Health (DPH), as needed
  • Call LBOHs and other universities to notify them of cases/contacts in their jurisdiction
  • Pull reports from MAVEN to identify new cases as they appear in our workflow
  • Attend weekly MAVEN webinars and office hours, or watch recorded weekly webinars and office hours, to stay up-to-date on MAVEN best practices and new functionality.
  • Collaborate with ServiceNow developer for high-quality data collection

  • Operational support
    • Create schedule templates and ensure coverage by monitoring SubItUp system.
    • Analyze productivity metrics and optimize staffing level.
    • Monitor and triage incoming communications to the contact tracing mailbox and respond as appropriate.
    • Assist with cluster investigation as needed.
    • Other operational support as requested by the Contact Tracing Manager and the Program Manager of the Northeastern Wellness Team.

    Qualifications:
    • Master's degree in Public Health or related field
    • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in public health, epidemiology, or other related fields
    • Good understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality around healthcare data
    • Understands how to apply protocols in real-life work and knows when to escalate to managers
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
    • Experience using RedCap is a plus
    • Experience working with a local public health department is a plus
