The Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College is seeking a dynamic, problem solving, and service oriented Recruitment Manager to join their team! The Recruitment Manager is responsible for leading and administering recruitment-related initiatives to meet revenue goals for various Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and Executive Doctorate in Business Administration (EDBA) programs for the Crummer Graduate School of Business. This position will report to the Executive Director for Enrollment Management.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

 

  • Leverage strong sales and leadership skills to serve as the school’s primary recruiter.
  • Work with marketing team, as well as the Recruitment Coordinator and Assistant Operations & Database Reporting Manager to ensure a seamless end-to-end recruitment and admissions process for all applicants.
  • Plan, attend, and manage recruitment-related events, engaging prospective students and making presentations primarily for the Early Advantage MBA, Professional MBA, Executive MBA, and Executive Doctorate in Business Administration programs.
  • Responsible for interviewing and screening applicants for admission while adhering to all applicable laws as they relate to conducting legally defensible interviews.
  • Must be able to prepare and deliver presentations to a variety of groups (prospective students, faculty, staff, etc.) as needed.
  • Work with the Executive Director of Enrollment Management to promote the Crummer Graduate School of Business Early Advantage and Professional MBA programs through relationships with alumni, faculty and administrators of Rollins, as well as other schools, and corporations.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of an outreach strategy to include relationship development, communications and compliance in order to meet projected revenue goals for Crummer admissions.
  • Use data to influence strategic, quantifiable initiatives.
  • Review and analyze trends to make recommendations to achieve or modify recruitment initiatives to meet enrollment goals.
  • Work collaboratively with faculty, staff and senior-leadership of the College; have effective interactions with prospective and current students, alumni, and other constituencies; and reflect a strong commitment to diversity.
  • Work with Assistant Operations and Database Reporting Manager and the marketing team to execute and filter electronic mail campaigns to prospective students.
  • Sit on the Crummer Marketing Group committee.
  • Help identify issues and recommend alternative solutions which may include changes to policies and procedures.
  • When needed, process applications and related materials for admission; post related information into Slate.
  • Represent the college through community and industry involvement to maintain and enhance the reputation of the Crummer Graduate School of Business and to enhance minority/female enrollment efforts.
  • Must be able to travel and participate in various work-related events (local, domestic and international); work flexible schedule which includes evenings and weekends; conduct interviews in person, via teleconference, and by phone; and, work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must exercise sound judgment and decision-making by ensuring interpretation and communication of policies and procedures are consistent and accurate.
  • Adhere to all College policies and procedures and federal, state, and accrediting agency rules with respect to recruitment.
  • Protect student confidentiality at all times.
  • Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license, accessible transportation and a good driving record to attend work-related events.
  • Complete special projects and reports when needed.
  • Must possess the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Perform additional job-related activities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related field is required, master's degree is preferred.
  • Several years of related work experience, preferably in admission/recruiting, or sales is required.
  • Knowledge of Crummer MBA curriculum preferred.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; strong public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Ability to contribute ideas to improve internal processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage shifting priorities, and handle numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to accomplish goals working through formal and informal channels, with diplomacy and tactfulness.
  • Demonstrated creativity, problem solving, critical analysis, initiative, judgment and, decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated solid planning skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong relevant subject matter knowledge.
  • Ability to apply technology to recruitment and admissions processes and communications; proficiency in using Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook); Slate CRM experience highly preferred.
  • Experience interpreting and applying local, federal, and state regulations to admission decisions.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle report (MVR) are required.

Work Environment:

 

 Working in-person on campus in an office environment.

Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.

Work requires use of computer, as well as looking at computer screens for extended periods of time.
