Under general supervision oversees and leads all aspects of the operation of the Post Office. Responsible for operations, administration, management and support tasks.

Essential Duties Summary

• Responsible for managing daily operation.
• Supervises Postal employees as well as enforce Postal and University rules and regulations.
• Handles customer’s complaints.
• Oversees customer service, handle administrative tasks, and manage mail distribution
• Makes sure that packages are properly delivered to students, faculty and staff timely.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Hiring Range $41,976.00 - $52,470.00 Education

High School diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent education.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of:
• Policies, procedures, and practices.
• Requires full/complete knowledge in multiple disciplines and serves as an ultimate subject matter expert in at least one discipline or function. Demonstrates full command of technical and functional principles, procedures, and subject matter in multiple disciplines to handle any situation and lead or train others. Requires the ability to lead the development or modification of work procedures across multiple disciplines.
• Microsoft Office Professional or similar application.

Skill in:
• Effective customer service.

Work Experience

Three (3) years to five (5) years of U.S. Post Office experience.

Working/Environmental Conditions

Working conditions involves some exposure to moderate risk of accident and require following basic safety precautions.
Physical demands include moderate physical activity that includes prolonged standing and/or walking, handling moderate weight objects and/or using or carrying equipment.
Work may require routine travel.
