Position Summary:

Develops, designs, and conducts one or more research projects and organizes daily operation of projects and specialized research areas to ensure work meets established objectives under moderate supervision.

This position is anticipated to begin in August of 2021, duration limited term.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelors Degree in Genomics or related field is required.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

2 years experience working in laboratory environment is required.

Additional Information:

Successful applicants will possess the following:
-Good communication and presentation skills (both written and oral);
-General computer software skills (Word, Excel, etc.);
-Individual must be capable of semi-independent work and not afraid to ask questions;
-Classroom and/or previous work experience in sterile technique and general laboratory procedures; and,
-Candidate should be responsible, well-organized, self-motivated and have interpersonal skills to be an integral pat of a research team.

Terminal, 13 month appointment.
