Job Summary

The paraprofessional for our Summer Youth Enrichment Program will perform paraprofessional work by assisting teachers with students in grades 6-12 in the JCCC summer youth enrichment classes.
Duties will include:
Assist with check-in and check-out of students
Assist teachers in the supervision of learning activities, circulating within the classroom and providing assistance and learning support to children
Supervise students at all times; monitor students when they are in the classroom and outside the classroom
Assist teachers with setting up and putting away class materials
Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

CPR/First Aid certification
Associate's degree or higher
1-2 years paraprofessional work experience with grades 6-12 in an educational environment
