The School of Education is excited to invite candidates who will serve as a Accreditation
Assistant with the Dean’s Office. The Accreditation Assistant will:
1-Chair advisory board of community stakeholders;
2-Work with Director of Licensure and Accreditation on any university supervisor
preparation (for special education program);
3-Participate in CAEP accreditation activities
4-Coordinate and prepare meeting materials for stakeholder meetings.

Required Qualifications

-Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field
-Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse staff, faculty, and student environment or commitment to do so as a employee at VCU .

Preferred Qualifications

-Master’s degree in special education or related area
-Higher education teaching experience
-Collaboration with K-12 personnel specific teacher education clinical experiences
-Proficient in online meeting software (such as Zoom)
-Knowledge of and experience with online collaboration and meeting tools
