The ELC Scholars Program Director will provide academic and
administrative leadership in support of freshman male student
success. This individual will mentor male freshmen, monitor their
adjustment to college, oversee supplemental tutoring, create and
oversee college and career skills programming, oversee emergency
assistance fund allocations and serve as liaison to companies
supporting freshman male student success. The Director reports to
the Assistant Dean for Student Success in the Deese College of
Business and Economics and works closely with the college's
academic advisor,faculty and administrators. The Program Director
may also be required to teach freshman orientation classes.
