The University of Southern Indiana’s Management and Information Sciences Department, housed in the Romain College of Business, invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor to teach Information Sciences (IS) courses in Computer Information Systems. Qualified candidates must have a doctoral degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS), Management Information System (MIS), or a similarly related field. Applicants with ABD status will be considered for the rank of Instructor until degree is completed.

 

Candidates must provide documentation of background in Cyber Security or Data Analytics and one or more of the following:

  • MIS fundamentals
  • Computer networking/ data communications
  • Web development
  • Database concepts/design
  • Systems analysis and design
  • ERP/SAP/ERPsim

 

The Department of Management and Information Sciences is home to nine Computer Science and Computer Information Systems faculty members and approximately 300 undergraduate students who, together, span a range of experience and research areas in Computer Science and Computer Information Systems. The Department of Management and Information Sciences is uniquely situated to offer students exposure to broad computing issues as well as practical business practices.
