Head Women’s Volleyball Coach
Buena Vista University, an NCAA Division III institution and member of the American Rivers Conference, is accepting applications for the position of Head Women's Volleyball Coach. Primary responsibilities of this full-time position include the organization and supervision of an intercollegiate volleyball program. Those responsibilities include but are not limited to recruiting student athletes, oversight of the budget, and management of the volleyball team from scheduling to counseling. Applicants should possess a strong coaching and teaching background and demonstrated success recruiting student athletes. This individual also oversees, monitors, and balances the budget and all financial operations of the program. Develops an effective competitive schedule for the program within the budget parameters along with fostering a positive, organized and enriching experience for the student athletes. Hires, supervises, evaluates and supports professional development of assistant coaches. Other duties as assigned. A bachelor’s degree and a valid driver’s license required with a Masters preferred. A background check will be conducted on the final candidate.
