West Virginia University Medicine at Harrison Community Hospital seeks a primary care physician. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Cadiz, OH.

Duties: The successful candidate will practice primarily in the areas of outpatient primary care and will provide comprehensive patient care to patients and establish preventive health practices for patients. Also, treats or delegates treatment of all patients and refers them for appropriate care. The successful candidate may also practice inpatient as well.

Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a WV medical license. Successful candidate must have completed an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program. Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Harrison Community Hospital (HCH) is a 25-bed critical access hospital located in Cadiz, OH, and has been an affiliate of Wheeling Hospital since 2017. The hospital is truly a community hospital, as members of the community saw a need for a health care facility close to home, and decided to take action. Through their dedication and the generosity of the community, HCH broke ground in 1968. The hospital saw its first patient in January 1970 and has been proudly serving the community ever since. HCH offers a wide range of healthcare services including: 24-hour Emergency Department; surgical services; laboratory services; advanced imaging services, including MRI; vascular studies; cardiac rehab; physical, speech and occupational therapy; skilled nursing services; chemotherapy; women’s health; pain management, and more.
