Position Category: Staff - Full-Time

Summary:
Aviation flight operations is seeking a full time specialist for scheduling. Under the direction of the Program Manager - Flight, performs and/or oversees a variety of associated administrative, fiscal, staff support, and planning activities, some of which require advanced or specialized knowledge and skills, such as resource scheduling, inventory management, specialized record keeping and database management, and analytical reporting tasks. Coordinates and facilitates meetings, program functions, and/or special events. Supervises scheduling operations and coordinates with Program Manager - Flight, Chief Flight Instructors, and Dispatch employees to track and report on operational performance. Primary functions and training responsibility to include: AIMS flight management program (daily flight resource assignment oversight & enforcement of assigned schedules, invoicing, understand student flight accounts, dispatching aircraft resources, credit card payments, student records), PSI Testing Center Proctor, part-time employee work hour reconciliation, tour/intro flight scheduling, and assists with maintenance of FAA and TSA records.

Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s or an associate’s degree and two years of experience related to the summary of duties or any combination of education and/or experience totaling four years.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of business office methods, techniques, practices & procedures
  • Knowledge of power queries, pivot tables, and data management
  • Knowledge of data management strategies and reporting best practices
  • Knowledge of office related financial management and requisition procedures
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Some knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration Regulations preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of effective supervisory procedures and techniques
  • Skills in maintaining focus on a task while in a distracting environment
  • Interpersonal and social problem-solving skills
  • Skills in application of data management to analyze data for trends and patterns
  • Skills in identifying key performance indicators
  • Skills in creating accurate reports to give clear and usable meaning to data
  • Skills in fleet scheduling and conflict resolution
  • Skills in records management
  • Skills in the use of computers, computer software, including but not limited to word processing, Excel, and E-mail applications
  • Skills in AIMS flight management software, test proctoring, and Banner are preferable but not required
  • Ability to perform a variety of administrative support duties with minimal supervision
  • Ability to follow verbal and written procedures and instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Ability to create visualized data
  • Ability to meet and work with all people to include individuals with diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to supervise staff performing critical Flight Center Dispatch functions
  • Ability to enforce Flight Center policies and Flight Schedule adherence
  • Ability to remain motivated while performing repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work independently on a multi-task level, prioritize and follow projects through to successful completion

Pay Range: $27,592 - $34,490
