Appointment: Department of Geology; one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position; begins Fall, 2021.

Responsibilities: The Department of Geology is seeking a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor with expertise to teach an introductory level physical geology course, our mid-level Introduction to Mineralogy and Petrology class, and an upper level elective, preferably in environmental geochemistry or a related subdiscipline. Enthusiasm for involving students in research is also expected and the department is well-equipped to support such endeavors.

Qualifications: Ph.D. (ABD considered). A strong commitment to liberal arts undergraduate teaching is required.
