Position Summary:

This position provides support to the Department of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine, UW Carbone Cancer Center, Office of Clinical Trials, Wisconsin Alzheimer's Institute and The Center for Human Genomics and Precision Medicine, and has a shared responsibility for the management, operation, and support of the Department's server and network infrastructure which supports research, teaching, clinical missions and the business operations for all customer groups.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree required.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in information technology preferred. A minimum of 7 years of experience to be considered for the Senior level.

Preferred Qualifications:

System administration experience with Windows and Linux systems

Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:
- VMWare
- Storage Area Networks
- Active Directory and/or eDirectory
- Endpoint management systems
- Workstation Imaging
- GPU based Machine Learning
- Script automation
