The project will involve the application of variety of molecular biology, cell biology, and bioinformatic approaches to characterize the influence of m6A on viral long-noncoding RNA biology, i.e., stability, structure, intermolecular, as well as HHV -8 infectivity cycle, i.e., replication, progeny virion production, infectivity. Understanding these interactions could enable the development of novel therapeutic and antiviral interventions.

Responsibilities:
• Successful candidate will design and conduct independent research to understand viral infection and host-pathogen interaction mechanisms
• Work independently with high motivation and a strong publication record
