Research coordination:
Works closely with PI to:
- Support and provide guidance on the administration of the compliance, financial, personnel, and other related aspects of the clinical study
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the study including problem-solving, communication, and protocol management

Duties to be performed as needed include:
- Reviews and develops a familiarity with the protocol
- Assists PI in the communication of study requirements to all individuals involved in the study
- Works with the PI to develop and implement recruitment strategies in accordance with IRB requirements and approvals
- Conducts or participates in the informed consent process including interactions with IRB and discussions with research participants
- Screens subjects for eligibility using protocol-specific inclusion and exclusion criteria, documenting each potential participant’s eligibility or exclusion
- Coordinates participant tests and procedures
- Collects data as required by the protocol
- Maintains study timelines
- Maintains adequate inventory of study supplies
- Completes study documentation and maintains study files
- Assists PI in preparation of any modifications to the scientific protocol in accordance with federal regulations and university and sponsoring agency policies and procedures

Research support:
- Assistance with manuscript and grants writing and preparation
- Assisting in the development of IRB protocols to give background information regarding the significance of the review, research questions, and research process
- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

-Master’s Degree in Public Health (or related field) or equivalent research coordination experience
-Experience using software applications, such as Redcap and Qualtrics for participant tracking and data collection
-Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
