About the Opportunity:
The School of Nursing in the Bouve College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University is seeking a full-time, benefits-eligible Program Manager in the Clinical Placement Office. The program manager will be responsible for supporting and coordinating clinical operations of the School of Nursing with primary focus on the placement of students for clinical and practicum educational experiences.

The primary work location for this position is the Boston, MA Northeastern University Campus Location. Until our full return to campus, which is still to-be-determined, this interview process will be conducted remotely- including virtual interviews, remote onboarding, and remote work. The remote nature of this position is subject to change in the future and is only temporary. Local, on-campus work will be required once the College and this role return to an operational status that supports it.

Responsibilities:
The Clinical Placement Office Program Manager in the School of Nursing will be responsible for supporting and coordinating clinical operations of the School with primary focus on the placement of students for clinical and practicum educational experiences. Key responsibilities include clinical placement database administration and management, as well as creation and maintenance of a comprehensive clinical course communications infrastructure. This position will serve as the main contact within and outside the School and will require operation at several different levels in order to establish and maintain smooth program and departmental operations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with experience in healthcare-related field preferred or equivalent education and experience that includes 2-3 years prior administrative experience in nursing education or health care agency. Must demonstrate advanced computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office. Experience and exposure to multiple applications including, but not limited to, databases and other computer systems strongly desired. Should possess excellent communications skills, including verbal and written with editing experience. Must demonstrate well-developed skills related to organizing, prioritizing, and delegating as appropriate. Must possess exemplary customer service orientation with both internal and external customers. Due to the varying levels at which this role must operate, self-direction, flexibility, a hands-on approach, and the ability to manage several initiatives and tasks simultaneously are critical for success. Ability and willingness to travel often between Burlington site and Boston campus.
