About the Opportunity:
The Associate Director for Planning in the office of the Senior Vice Chancellor and Provost will lead support for the operations, projects, and key work streams on behalf of the SVC across the global network. The Associate Director will work closely with the SVC and their leadership team to manage central workstreams and operations, ensuring that core work and projects are successfully managed and executed. The Associate Director will lead planning and project efforts in addition to supporting the overall administration through project strategy, budget development and implementation, planning. The Associate Director in this position will also oversee the planning and implementation of various events, programs and other initiatives across the global network. In addition, this position will work closely with the Director of Communications to coordinate communication efforts across of the SVC's portfolio.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
  • 6 or more years experience working in an executive environment, preferably in higher education
  • 6 or more years collaboratively working in a team environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing operations, projects and budgets
  • Demonstrated experience with event planning, in particular large-scale events, as well as project management; formal project management certification(s) preferred
  • Strong writing ability required)
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and strategically, while using professional judgment and discretion
  • Ability to be flexible, agile, and adaptive
  • Strong time management and organization skills
