Dean of the College of Health and Pharmacy

The Dean is the chief administrative officer for the College of Health and Pharmacy, overseeing the Schools of Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Pharmacy. The Dean reports to the Provost and is a member of the Deans' Council and advisor to the Provost. The Dean serves as the public face and advocate for the quality and success of the College, and collaborates with fellow members of the Deans' Council and other senior administrators to fulfill the mission and vision of the University.The Dean is responsible for:- Providing strategic leadership to the College of Health and Pharmacy to advance the work of the College.- Identifying, understanding, and supporting the needs of each school with regard to admissions, marketing, progression, accreditation, and licensure.- Overseeing instruction, scholarly activity, recruitment, supervision, and professional development of faculty and staff, budgetary planning and management, strategic planning, and fundraising and grant opportunities for the College.- Seeking and facilitating opportunities to develop and expand exceptional educational programming in health and pharmacy.- Developing and advancing community relationships that respond to, and positively impact, regional healthcare needs.
