COORDINATOR - PROJECT EVOLVE
OLIVE-HARVEY COLLEGE
(GRANT FUNDED - PART TIME)
Olive-Harvey College is looking for a part time coordinator to support students participating in Project Evolve. Project Evolve is a revoluntary program designed to support Chicago's African-American and Hispanic populations and those who are unemployed or underemployed. Participating students in select Olive-Harvey areas of study will receive specialized assistance and training to enter high-skilled, high wage, and in-demand occupations. This position is grant funded and will report to the Director of Student Development Projects. The coordinator manages all communication to students and is the point person for Project Envolve scholars who need support in understanding the accessing benefits.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all email communications to students by answering their questions and directing them to the appropriate resource.
- Participate in phone call campaigns to support enrollment initiatives
- Participate in essential employability skills training events and other Project Evolve related events or campaigns.
- Process requisitions.
- Assist Admissions and Advising teams with outreach to students. Work with student systems such as CS9, WizeHive (scholarship application system), BrightSpace and Navigate.
- Assist with scheduling student-level events, program-related events or team-related meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Four years of work experience in administering a program(s) for a non-profit, social services, government or educational organization
- Strong project management abilities
- A combination of education and experience may be taken into consideration based on the applicant’s credentials
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must able to work a minimum of 29 hours.
