FACULTY POSITION – Doctoral Capstone Coordinator Teaching Professor, Department of Occupational Therapy

Xavier University of Cincinnati, a Catholic University in the Jesuit tradition, invites applicants for a full-time Doctoral Capstone Coordinator Teaching Professor position. The principal faculty member will join the Department of Occupational Therapy in Fall 2021. Responsibilities will include: coordinating the student doctoral capstone project and experience in compliance with ACOTE Accreditation Standards, teaching doctoral-level courses, advising students, and engaging in service for the Department, College, and University. A candidate must be a certified and licensed occupational therapist eligible for licensure in the State of OH, possess a doctoral degree, and, have a minimum of 2 years clinical experience. Preference will be given to a candidate with experience in any of the following: academia, capstone project/experience development, adult/geriatric rehabilitation, community-based practice, population health, mental health. Successful candidates will create effective community partnerships, enact strong and inclusive interpersonal skills, work collaboratively as a team member, and display solid professional leadership skills.
