Position Summary:

The Quality Improvement with Data (QID) group conducts research and creates methods to improve the quality of long-term care and other health systems through the development of information and decision support systems; creating and maintaining website based tools for the dissemination and implementation of quality improvement measurement, data collection, knowledge dissemination and information systems. This position will provide hardware and software support for the systems and the website programmers. Our projects have login based website components; the Clinical Resource Center (CRC) website ( crc.wisc.edu ) and Wisconsin Coalition for Collaborative Excellence in Assisted Living- WCCEAL ( wcceal.wisc.edu ) projects.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelors degree required.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Required:
Previous system administration experience
Knowledge of PHP, JavaScript libraries and MySQL queries
Broad knowledge of major operating systems, web browsers and SMTP email
Software documentation and debugging experience

Additional Information:

Position to last until 06/30/2021. There is a possibility it may be extended if there is a need for an ongoing appointment and/or funding becomes available.

Must have the ability to work independently. Must be self-directed with a willingness to learn and grow.
