The following position at the University of Music Lübeck is available as of February 1st, 2022.

In an increasingly digitized world, cultural life is challenged and confronted with the question of how the arts can investigate, conceive, comment on, and ultimately help shape the societal development that accompanies digitization. The University of Music Lübeck (MHL) acknowledges its social responsibility to support these processes by thinking together about cultural heritage and the as yet undetermined future. As an educational institution for music, the MHL seeks to raise awareness of this challenging topic among its faculty and students. This new position prepares students for the complexity of current and future professional fields. Besides teaching the relevant basics of Digital Creation, the MHL is looking for a personality who provides students the agility to anchor newfound knowledge in their artistic practice and, most importantly, use it to gain awareness of how these artistic digital skills can be innovatively applied in society. In particular, open-mindedness to other arts and collaborative partners plays an important role here.
