The Collaborative Sciences Center for Road Safety is looking for fill the position of Postdoctoral Fellow.

 

The successful candidate will assist in the execution of the Center’s Research Program, which is focused on the application of safe systems principles to the creation of safe, livable cities. More information on CSCRS at FAU is available here: http://science.fau.edu/departments/urban-regional-planning/research/cscrs/index.php Responsibilities will entail assisting in the Center’s ongoing research program and the development of materials into scholarly publications and presentations.

 

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in conducting sponsored research, expertise in geographic information and statistical analysis, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Applicants with prior experience in conducting sponsored research is encouraged to apply. Because of COVID-19 related risks associated with gathering and travel, the successful candidate will be permitted to work remotely.

Minimum Qualification: 

A doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Transportation, or a related degree by the time of appointment is required.

 

Prior experience in sponsored research preferred.
