Computer Science (1-year Term)

The Department of Computer Science at DePauw University invites applications for a one-year term position at the Assistant Professor or Instructor level beginning August 2021. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. An M.S. in computer science or a closely related field is required; a Ph.D. or ABD in computer science or a closely related field preferred. A commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal arts setting is essential. All specializations will be considered; the department is particularly seeking candidates to teach introductory and sophomore-level courses (Data Structures, Computer Systems, Object-Oriented Software Development, Foundations of Computation, and Writing in Computer Science). Teaching upper-level courses is possible depending on the candidate’s specialty and interest. The teaching load is six courses per year. Funds for professional development are available to the successful applicant.
