Primary Function

Maintain fiscal records, process-related paperwork and assist in compiling reports for assigned areas and cost centers.

Duties and Responsibilities (generally)

Work assigned and reviewed primarily by Business Manager II. Ultimately responsible to the Sr. Associate Athletics Director for HR and Administration.

Minimum Required Qualifications for this position

1. Any one or any combination of the following types of preparation:
(a) work experience performing duties comparable to the next lower
level of this series
(b) college course work in accounting
© college course work in any curriculum
that totals 1.0 unit according to the following conversion rates:
1 year of “a” = 1.0 unit
6 semester hours of “b” = 1.0 unit
60 semester hours of “c” = 1.0 unit.
Amounts of experience or training less than those listed above should be converted to decimal equivalents of 1.0 unit and added together when computing combinations of the different types of preparation.

This position requires an individual who highly motivated, computer literate with the following skills and attributes: Excellent organizational skills to ensure that assigned tasks can be accomplished in a timely manner; Ability to handle stress from multiple priorities and deadlines is a must; Problem solving capabilities to be able to analyze and evaluate a situation and recommend solutions, as well as forecasting to avoid future possible problems.

As a staff member within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, you are responsible for knowledge of, and compliance with, National Collegiate Athletics Association ( NCAA ) regulations – both those general in nature, and those which apply directly to your position’s responsibilities. Strict adherence to all applicable governing policies, procedures, and regulations of the NCAA is required and is a condition of your employment.
