The incumbent will be responsible for testing compounds effect on various cancer cell lines. This task involves growing and maintaining cancer cell lines, adding compounds to the cell lines and analyzing the compounds effect on the cell lines.
Additionally, the incumbent will assist in production of proteins for functional, biophysical, and crystallographic studies.

Required Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or equivalent field of study.
-Hepatitis B vaccination prior to beginning work.
-Some laboratory work experience with general lab skills which includes but is not limited to cell culturing and maintenance, transfection, Western blot, DNA PCR, making buffers, compound’s molar solutions, Plasmid preparation, techniques involved in protein purification, PAGE, protein or enzyme activity assays.
