The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Houston invites applications for a Senior Lecturer (non-tenure track) position in the newly created Computer Engineering and Analytics undergraduate degree at the University of Houston at Katy. UH at Katy is a newly built satellite campus located in Katy, Texas, 30 miles to the west of the central campus. All administration, advising, and instruction for the program will occur at the Katy campus. We are seeking exceptional candidates in the field of computer engineering and analytics.
The primary responsibility will be teaching. However, in the initial years, the teaching load will be offset by administrative responsibilities that will include setting up of the design and hands-on instruction spaces; developing processes for attaining accreditation; advising students; participating in the recruitment of additional instructors; and being a spokesperson for the program. The anticipated start date for this position is September 1, 2021.

Qualifications :
PhD in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related engineering field is preferred with teaching experience at the university level at the time of application.
