Assistant Professor of Philosophy
Chapman University’s Department of Philosophy is seeking an Assistant Professor of Philosophy in Orange, CA. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses within the Wilkinson College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences with a focus in the areas of logic, philosophy of science, philosophy of quantum physics, philosophy of mind, metaphysics, and analytic philosophy. Develop curriculum and prepare course materials. Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions. Participate in faculty decision-making in department committees. Required qualifications include Ph.D., or equivalent, in Philosophy or a related field.
