Overview: The Director of Clinical Training will manage the PsyD degree program. This position will be responsible for accreditation of the program, oversight of PsyD faculty, alignment of curriculum and standards with Ponce campus, and developing new clinical relationships.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise PsyD faculty and conduct performance evaluations
  • Assist Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in developing training and professional development for faculty
  • Coordinate with the Dean for Behavioral & Brain Sciences in aligning curriculum and standards with main campus
  • Lead the accreditation process for the PsyD program, including completing the application, preparing for site visit, and ensuring the campus meets all requirements
  • Develop new clinical relationships and maintain current agreements
  • Work with student services to develop educational and professional opportunities for students
  • Work with campus leadership to promote PsyD program, develop budget, and assist in day to day operational decisions
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • A PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology required
  • 7-10 years faculty experience required
  • Experience in a supervisory role preferred
  • Experience with accreditation preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and team building skills
