 Visiting Assistant Professor – Biology - Physiology

 

The Department of Biology at Saint Mary’s College (Notre Dame, IN) invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology beginning August, 2021. The Department is seeking a scholar in the field of applied vertebrate physiology, with a strong commitment to teaching in an undergraduate liberal arts environment. The candidate’s primary responsibility will be to teach a six-course load, which will include courses in vertebrate physiology and human pathophysiology, with potential to develop courses in exercise physiology and kinesiology. Interest in mentoring undergraduate research in physiology, with an emphasis on exercise physiology or kinesiology preferred. A strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, undergraduate education of women, a liberal arts education, and service to the department and the College is expected. 

 

Ph.D. required.  ABD will be considered.  Teaching experience expected.  Starting date is August 16, 2021. Classes begin on August 23, 2021.
