The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Cleveland State University (CSU) invites applications for non-tenure track visiting lecturer positions in Computer Science. The positions begins on August 16, 2021. 

Responsibilities include teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate level, student advising, and curriculum development for both lecture and lab courses. The normal teaching load is 24 credit hours (6-8 courses) per academic year. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. Opportunities for summer teaching with additional compensation might also be available. The position is for one year, renewable annually for up to two additional years, for a total of three years. 

Minimum Qualifications:

1) Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in computer science or a closely related field.

2) Ability to teach and interact with both undergraduate and graduate students.

3) Good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1) Earned doctoral degree in computer science or a closely related field.

2) Teaching experience.

3) Industrial experience.

4) The ability to contribute through teaching and/or service to the diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence of the academic community.

Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
