Northern State University seeks a full-time Instructor of Environmental Science to begin August 2021.

 

Qualifications:  A Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Geographic Information Systems, or a closely related field is required. Teaching experience at the college level is preferred. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to teach a variety of courses, embrace interdisciplinary curricula, and have strong communication skills.

 

Responsibilities:  The applicant will teach a variety of courses primarily housed in the Science and Math Department at NSU. Teaching responsibilities will include GIS, Environmental Biology, Physical Geography (and other Geography courses) and others based on departmental needs. Additional courses such as First Year Seminar may be added to the course rotation as needed. The applicant must have a strong commitment to undergraduate education, and be willing to participate in service activities as requested.
