The candidate will serve as a team member that provides national program leadership and coordination of research programs related to human nutrition and the food supply.

The candidate will provide innovative scientific and technical leadership for research performed by ARS at multiple locations around the U.S.  The incumbent provides recommendations for the content, scope, and priorities of national ARS programs in human nutrition research and coordinates the programs to focus on problems of national importance, and where appropriate, collaborates and coordinate with priorities of other national programs.
