The University of Maryland School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics is looking for a part-time Pediatric Endocrinologist at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor determined by experience and qualifications as evaluated by the University of Maryland School of Medicine to expand its Division of Pediatric Endocrinology. In addition to skills in clinical pediatric endocrinology and diabetes, and board certification, competitive candidates should have an interest in academic pursuits. Subspecialty expertise within the division includes a Pediatric Diabetes Program, a Prader Willi Syndrome Program and a Transgender Health Program. This position offers opportunities for research experience with grant success related to care to the pediatric/adolescent transgender community is preferred but not required.
