Faculty Credentialing Specialist

Job Description

The Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Worldwide Campus Department of Academic Affairs is seeking a skilled Faculty Credentialing Specialist. This position will support the Academic Affairs Department with interactions with the College Deans, Department/Program/Discipline Chairs, HR, scheduling and various Worldwide Departments on faculty credentialing matters. The successful individual should be highly organized, have strong communication skills and be comfortable with multi-tasking. Excellent interpersonal and computer skills are essential, as is the ability to project and promote a positive image of the department, while supporting academic excellence in ERAU-W’s teaching and learning environment. The individual should be a team player with a strong commitment to customer service and have at least 3-5 years’ experience, preferably in an academic setting.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Associates degree
• (3-5) years of work-related experience

• Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Applies advanced critical thinking skills in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Addresses multiple deadlines and balances multiple needs and perspectives.
• Communicates proactively, collaboratively, and professionally with team members.
• Analyzes problems, identifies solutions, projects consequences of proposed actions, and implements recommendations in support of University Goals

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in a higher education environment
