Job Summary
Assist the Sr. HR Manager in administering a variety of complex human resources related programs and processes including, but not limited to, employee relations challenges, support training, best practices and policies, as well as development which support the operational functions for the College of Engineering. This position will collaborate with all departments across the organization to ensure a positive and consistent employee experience and provide support to all employees as needed.
Essential Functions
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, morale, training and development.
Support employees when human resources issues arise with efficient problem-solving.
Assist in the coordination of staffing and recruitment processes. Coordinates with departments to accomplish essential recruitment tasks, including: posting job openings, reviewing resumes, calling candidates and scheduling interviews.
Recommend and develop employee relations practices to foster a positive employer-employee relationship.
Other duties as assigned.
