Job Description:

The Department of Residential Community Life at the State University of New York College at Oneonta invites applications to fill an immediate opening for the position of Residence Manager. The administrative position is expected to start February 28, 2021 and run through May 28, 2021. This is a live-in position with a fully furnished apartment.

Duties include but not limited to: overall management of the resident student Daily Health Screenings data audits; the logistics of room assignments for students moving into and out of Quarantine and Isolation halls; weekly testing reports; and assisting with the overall management of the residential program. This staff member will assist in working with night hosts and office assistants; will assist with Wellness Day activities; will fill in if needed in management of a residence hall (including supervision of student staff, operations, facilities, and community building). This position will participate in the on campus professional staff duty rotation and will sit on 3 departmental committees. This position will report within the Residence Life Department and will have some weekend and evening work.


Required qualifications: bachelor's degree; residential living experience.

Preferred: experience working with and serving diverse populations.
