Carroll University School of Business is seeking a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Business specializing in Health Care Administration. The successful candidate will begin Fall 2021 and will teach courses in primary areas of health care finance, health care information management, health care law and health care economics at the undergraduate level and graduate level. This candidate should have completed or will be completing their DBA or Ph.D. by June 2021. A proven ability to develop curricula and teach both in person and online is strongly preferred. Applicants with health care industry or other relevant experience also preferred.

Candidates should demonstrate a strong potential for excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. ABDs will be considered for tenure-track position, but doctorates from an AACSB or equivalently accredited program preferred.

All Carroll University faculty are expected to participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching effectiveness, to maintain currency in the discipline, and to grow as a faculty leader. In addition, this position will be involved in service to the school and university through representation and meaningful participation on committees, student recruitment activities, quality initiatives, assessment activities, and accreditation reviews.

Rank and Salary: This position is full-time (9-month) faculty position. Candidates with a terminal degree will be considered for a tenure track position. Rank is open and is commensurate with prior experience. Candidates who have earned advanced rank at another institution will be considered for comparable appointment. Opportunities for summer teaching and project work are available, but not guaranteed. Salary is AACSB competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
