Assistant Director of Field Education, School of Social Work (SWSimmons)

Main Campus - Boston, MA
R07419

Simmons School of Social Work offers degrees at the bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels (BSW, MSW, DSW, PhD). The MSW degree is offered through both our traditional on ground program and via our innovative online platform, SocialWork@Simmons (SW@S). The Assistant Director of Online Field Education collaborates with the Online Field Education Director in anticipating and responding to complex needs of the Field Education Department at SW@Simmons. The particular demands of the SW@Simmons Field Department are driven by influx of students over 6 starts per year; the onboarding of corresponding numbers of new field liaisons for each start date; ongoing support for field liaisons (including intervention in field-related concerns); and the negotiation of new relationships with field agencies and field instructors in areas of the country that are unfamiliar to Simmons.

Simmons University is committed to inclusive excellence in all aspects of an individual's community experience. As a university committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, Simmons encourages applications from all under-represented groups.
