General Description
College of the Sequoias Community College District is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach within the Police Academy.

Adjunct faculty assignments may include weekend and/or evening classes at the Hanford Educational Center.

Adjunct faculty applications which meet the required minimum qualifications are kept on file for one year from the date the application is received.

Adjunct faculty positions are temporary positions and do not accrue rights to tenure.

Job Duties
Under the general direction of the Director of the Police Academy, adjunct faculty will provide comprehensive classroom instruction and training to Police Academy cadets.

Qualifications
The minimum qualifications for this position are:

Any bachelor's degree or higher
AND
Two years of professional experience
OR
any associate degree
AND
six years of professional experience
OR
The equivalent.

Note: The professional experience required must be directly related to law enforcement.
