The History Department at Central Washington University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in the history of race in the U.S. to begin September 2021. PhD in history required by September 15, 2021. Desired fields include African-American history; U.S. Latinx history; or Asian-American history, preferably post-1945. In addition to teaching lower- and upper-division classes in History, the successful applicant will teach cross-listed courses in one of the following College units: Africana and Black Studies, Asian Studies, or the Centro Latinx for Latino and Latin American Studies.
