University of Washington, Department of Medicine, Division of Dermatology

The Division of Dermatology in the Department of Medicine at the University of Washington (UW) is recruiting for a physician scientist.  The selected candidate will be proposed for appointment to the full-time faculty as an Assistant Professor (without tenure due to funding), commensurate with experience.  This position will have an annual service period of 12 months [July 1-June 30]. Though this position will primarily focus on conducting research in skin biology, other duties include patient care and teaching of medical students, residents and fellows while on clinical service.  University of Washington faculty will be expected to engage in teaching, research and service.  Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.  The anticipated start date would be July 2021.

Qualifications

Candidates should have an MD (or foreign equivalent), board certification in Dermatology (or foreign equivalent).  In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
