Job Title: Development Coordinator, Annual Giving
The Development Coordinator in the Office of Annual Giving (OAG) at Johns Hopkins University reports to the Administrative Supervisor.
The Communications Coordinator is a member of the Marketing and Operations team within OAG. Fast-paced and highly variable, this role is best suited for an individual with deft interpersonal skills and collaborative instincts, high adaptability and creativity, strong communicative abilities, and intellectual curiosity. The Development Coordinator will directly support projects and priorities in alignment with the institution’s undergraduate alumni participation and division-specific annual giving goals. This role is best suited for an individual who can balance competing priorities, has impeccable attention to detail, and is an adept project manager.
The Office of Annual Giving is a growing team that currently consists of 8 colleagues who provide annual giving services to the nine schools of the university, various departments of Johns Hopkins Medicine, and several centers and institutes, totaling over 25 partners. These annual giving services include developing comprehensive and integrated solicitation strategies that are optimal for each development unit and are data-driven. Like all offices and units in Development and Alumni Relations (DAR), OAG is committed to a donor-directed philanthropy philosophy. Specific Responsibilities:- Work closely as a team member with the divisional staff to develop project plans, marketing strategies, and divisional goals.
- Assist members of the OAG team in managing project deadlines and deliverables, and following up with team members on outstanding tasks.
- Monitor and calculate the success of each solicitation by using the Alumni and Development Information Network (ALADIN). Coordinate the reporting of progress to each program on a monthly basis and offer suggestions to achieve goals, including reporting and benchmarking for The Hopkins Fund.
- Attend meetings with liaison team to discuss strategies and benchmarks for fall and spring solicitation cycles.
- Proactively work with the Director to devise improved planning and tracking procedures.
- Assist the Data Analytics team with ongoing and one-off tasks, including managing daily suppressions and appeal codes.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, including calendar management, creating and distributing meeting materials, managing direct marketing sample distribution, and
- In partnership with members of the OAG team, develop and manage an annual giving stewardship strategy that engages donors in support of development outcomes.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Strategic & Divisional Priorities.

Blood tests for immunities to these diseases are ordinarily included in the pre-employment physical exam except for those employees who provide results of blood tests or immunization documentation from their own health care providers. Any vaccinations required for these diseases will be given at no cost in our Occupational Health office.
