Position Summary:

As part of a grant funded project, the Digital Asset Coordinator will prepare the Chazen Museum in terms of digital readiness which will involve selection, inventorying, and description of both analog and digital assets, as well as coordination with the Libraries to deliver assets for long term discovery and digital preservation.The individual will have the responsibility to help develop a workflow for digitizing Chazen Museum analog collections and delivering curated metadata and digital assets to the UW Madison Libraries Digital Collections Infrastructure for discovery and preservation.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Minimum BA/BS in related area such as Library Science. MA/MS preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Professional, coursework or practicum experience in digital asset management preferred.
