Dartmouth College seeks applications for a Senior Associate Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations to manage a portfolio of corporate and foundation prospects, develop strategies, and cultivate relationships that lead to proposals for significant corporate and foundation gifts and grants in support of institutional priorities and research by faculty, centers, and institutes. This fundraiser will collaborate with faculty, senior administrators, and others to identify and pursue corporate and foundation opportunities and advocate Dartmouth's key strengths to corporate and foundation communities; secure and steward foundation and corporate awards in support of the College and supports the goals of the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree, a minimum of seven years of fundraising in a complex development organization, preferably in foundation and/or corporate relations or the equivalent; writing and communications experience in higher education or a complex non-profit environment and experience in an academic setting preferred. Strong preference will be given to candidates with a strong working knowledge in the sciences.
