Position Summary:
Expanding on its successful MBA programs with the addition of a new Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program, the Atkinson Graduate School of Management at Willamette University invites applications for an open-rank, non-tenure-track position in Management Practice. Successful candidates should have expertise in one or more of the following disciplines—Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Organizational Behavior, Strategy and Entrepreneurship. Appointment to begin in August, 2021.
Position Description:

This is an open-rank position. Salary is competitive with similar AACSB accredited institutions and commensurate with experience, teaching, and research record.

This position is eligible for the University's generous benefits package that includes: medical/dental insurance, annual retirement contribution equal to 10% of gross base pay from the University in exchange for a mandatory employee contribution of 1%, tuition remission, and moving expense allowance.

Position Requirements:

Successful candidates will have an earned master's or doctorate degree in a relevant area, preferably from an AACSB accredited institution, and have a relevant combination of education and experience commensurate with a professor of management practice. Successful candidates will show the ability to develop and teach MBA and undergraduate coursework, engage and mentor students in experiential projects, and the motivation to actively build and sustain relationships with the business, government, and not-for-profit communities. Practical experience in business, government, or not-for-profit organizations is required.
